Olha o que eu achei enquanto brisava no meu facebook...
"She’s baaack! After winning a few awards and not doing anything terribly crazy for months, Britney Spears seems to be back on top. We at LivingSocial, however, fondly remember Britney 1.0... “Hit Me Baby One More Time” on TRL, the scandalous Rolling Stone cover, and hoping she and Justin would just work things out. We believe those were the days of her prime, so we were nervous as we put “Circus” in our CD drive (YES we ordered the physical album - with its pretty pictures and frustrating shrink-wrapping).
We WANT Britney to do well, but a big, flop disappointment doesn’t seem out of the question. After all, we thought a comeback was inevitable when she divorced K-Fed (wrong) and again when she performed at the 2007 VMA’s (painfully mistaken). Fool us once, shame on you, Britney; fool us more than twice, shame on the American public, the recording industry, and the inventor of music. After being made fools of one too many times, we begin listening with guarded hopefulness. Deep breath, here it goes...
We liked it; we really liked it! Overall, “Circus” is a solid album of good, pop tracks. Nothing about it is particularly groundbreaking, but it’s difficult to identify anything not to like. “Womanizer,” the album’s first single, and “Circus,” the album’s second, are both club-worthy, dance hits. These songs are rounded out by three ballads of varying quality (“Out From Under,” “Unusual You,” and “My Baby”). “My Baby” is clearly a song to her children but is a bit too wispy for our taste. “Out From Under” is a remake of a previous version by Joanna Pacitti, for the Bratz soundtrack, but Britney does it better. The rest of the tracks are fun, unabashedly pop mixes, coming soon to a radio near you.
The songs collected on “Circus” are only part of the rumored 30 tracks that Britney recorded over the summer. They were written and produced by a variety of A-list, studio people. Britney wrote three songs (“Mmm Papi,” “Mannequin,” and “My Baby”), and the writing team, Bloodshy, who helped with Britney and Madonna’s last albums, wrote and produced “Unusual You,” “Radar,” and “Phonography.”
“Circus” is a quality release that has delivered Britney’s first #1 Billboard single, “Womanizer,” since she retired her Catholic school girl garb. Ms. Spears has nothing to be embarrassed of this time around, and we’ll have it in heavy rotation until social norms dictate we go back to Christmas tunes. No one here would be disappointed to find tickets to one of Britney’s 2009 concerts tucked in their stocking this year!"
